  Great Quiet Location!

  We really liked this place. It is on the second floor overlooking the dunes and the ocean. The small private deck/balcony was a wonderful place to enjoy the ocean view in the morning with coffee or to have drinks at sunset. The laundry room was conveniently located across the hall from the unit and the elevator was nearby. The property was well maintained and attractively decorated. We loved the natural environment of Kiawah - saw three deer beside the dune the first night there. The market at the Freshfields center is great and carry out from there is good quality. We didn't have good experiences at two of the restaurants nearby - Shrimpers and Jasmine Porch at the Sanctuary but the "shabby chic" Chez Fish out on the highway to Charleston was excellent!

  The view of the ocean was fabulous, especially considering we were only on the second floor! The villa was decorated very well and was very comfortable. One negative comment I can make is about the phone. We had telemarketers calling almost every day. We had given out the villa phone # to close family in case of emergency - so every time the phone rang, it made me very nervous! I would suggest listing the phone numbers on the do-not-call list! The only other thing negative is about the distance from the parking lot to the villa - it was quite a trek to haul in our suitcases, etc, but there was an elevator which was very helpful.
