Very nice, 1Br/1 bath, oceanfront villa, in the East Beach area. This lovely villa has been nicely updated throughout. The living room has a tv, cd player, and glass doors leading to the covered balcony. From here, the ocean views are breathtaking. The bedroom has a king size bed, a small television and an ocean view. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower, updated floors, and vanity. This is a wonderful, 3rd floor unit with awesome ocean views and only a hop, skip, and a jump from the beach. No-smoking and renters may not use the fireplace.

We enjoyed our vacation at Windswept. The seacoast decor gave us a warm welcome from the moment we entered. The quality prints on the walls gave us a perfect feeling of vacation. The view from the window was the Kiawah we have loved for the past 19 years. We hope to return again soon. Our stay was spectacular, even though the weather was cool, and it even rained! But our view of the ocean, and the sounds were peaceful, luscious... and the beach was uncrowded, lovely. The kitchen is so well stocked... every convenience! We will return!

You can't beat the location of this condo -- the pictures of the view don't do it justice. It was spacious, clean and in great condition, and had everything you need. The only thing missing was a DVD player, but who needs one when you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean?

Since we've been returning to Kiawah and renting from Pam Harrington for more than 25 years, you know that we always look forward to our visits. This year was no exception. Although entering and exiting the shower was somewhat awkward, the unit was excellent as always. Even for those of us who are not technologically advanced, it would be very helpful to have access to wireless capabilities in the future. Other than those very minor comments, we always know that we're going to have a good experience at Kiawah with a rental from Pam Harrington Exclusives--that's why we continue to return. Please forward your rates for 2010--we're already looking forward to our next visit. By the way, the 10 percent discount for golf was a nice perk--thanks. I sure wish the golf was less expensive but I don't expect that will change unless Kiawah loses its allure.

Our stay at this condo was the best beach trip we've ever had, and we've been going to different beaches for almost 30 years! The view was magnificent and the condo was beautifully decorated and very comfortable - perfect for two people. Pam Harrington even called the first night we were there to make sure we had arrived and everything was in order. As for the location, it's the prettiest beach we've ever been to. The town of Kiawah requires beachfront lights to be turned off after 9:00 p.m. during turtle nesting season, so there is very litle ambient light to interfere with skywatching. We had a waning moon while we were there, and while there was no moonglade, the stars were unbelievable. We could even see the Milky Way! We saw lots of ghost crabs and even met a deer on the boardwalk one night - what a treat! It was such a quiet, peaceful place. The beach is very wide and flat with the biggest tidepools at low tide I've ever seen. This is a great place to visit if you love to walk or bike on the beach, and you enjoy nature and wildlife watching. The weather was also great the last week of August, with a few thunderstorms in the area, but none that chased us inside. We love going to new places and seeing new things,but we loved this condo and the area so much, we've probably found the one beach location that we'll have to revisit over and over! And, the price for this beautiful condo was less than we would have paid for comparable accomodations in many beachfront hotels.

P.S. If you go, don't miss eating at Rosebank Farms Cafe - it's great!

I was down in Kiawah to run the marathon and was blown away by the prices at the sanctuary. Not only was it very pleasant to deal with the folks at Pam Harrington, but they were able to set me up in a condo, twice e size of a sanctuary room, on the water at half the price. The folks are the gold standard of hospitality management in South Carolina. Have already recommended them to friends looking to vacation in Kiawah.

Beautiful view and well equipped kitchen. Loved the outdoor table and chairs. For $300 a night, would expect to have a newer TV and a DVD player. Who uses a VCR any more? The layout is mostly good but an odd feature is not having a door between the shower area and the bedroom. Furniture was typical beach type--rattan with cushions but in good condition. Lighting good. Great bed, lots of towels. Loved being able to bike everywhere. The property manager checked in with us when we arrived and left, and we could have come in early because no one was in the unit before us. Would happily return for that view--even better than the website indicates.
